Ads - Part 68

Men's Fragrance Ads

In 1971, this ad made waves, featuring a naked Yves Saint Laurent promoting his eau de toilette, even though nothing is really showing.

This 1974 ad for Braggi Cologne showed more.

A couple of 1979 ads for Dior's Eau Sauvage were more restrained.

We get an oblique rear view in this 1996 ad for Gianni Versace fragrances.

This 2002 commercial for Lacoste Pour Homme starred a naked Ian Lawless showing rear views galore.  Not surprisingly, some people complained about the commercial.

The frontal view of the model is carefully concealed in this Gaultier ad for Le Beau Male.

Likewise in this 2014 ad for Joop Homme, with model Justice Joslin.

Tom Ford's 2011 ad for Neroli Portofino showed a little butt, but it was restrained.

Not all ads were so restrained.  Yves Saint Laurent ran this full-frontal ad for M7 in 2002, featuring model Samuel de Cubber.  The ad was shown in some French magazines but was banned in the U.S.

And Tom Ford took things to a whole new level in this ad for Tom Ford for Men.  The ad appeared on the back cover of the spring 2008 issue of Butt magazine.  I think we know the demographic group this ad is aimed at, and it's not suburban housewives.

A bit surprised....but pleased....at Samuel de Cubber's full bush.

The funny is after looking at the YSL ad I only want to beat one off. I don't want to buy the cologne.
