Kurts Adams Rozentals

Kurts Adams Rozentals was on track to represent Great Britain in Olympic canoe competition until recently.

Born in Latvia in 2002, he moved to England when he was 8 years old.  In 2023, he won a silver medal at the Under 23 World Cup Championships men's C1 final in Krakow, Poland (that's him at left).

But in 2025 he posted some explicit material on OnlyFans to raise money.  That's him on an airplane.

And here's a gif from his OnlyFans video.  He also posted the video on Instagram.  When they found out about the Instagram video, Paddle UK, the British organization that had been sponsoring him, banned him for two years and kicked him off their World Class Programme, their program to financially assist athletes to prepare for the 2028 and 2032 Olympics.  Paddle UK claimed the video brought them into "serious disrepute".

Kurts said the ban would not have happened if athletes were funded properly.  His £16,000 yearly grant from Paddle UK was not enough for him to be a full-time athlete, and he had to do something else to raise money.  “While I understand the video could be described as crazy, it was not illegal and certainly shouldn’t be the reason for banning an athlete,” he said.

Events - Part 92

North East Skinny Dip

The North East Skinny Dip is a mass nude event held in Druridge Bay, England, to celebrate the Fall Equinox.  This year the equinox is on Sept. 22, but the North East Skinny Dip is being held today, on Sept. 20, perhaps because it's a weekend so more people can attend.

At 7:00 am, the naked participants wade into Druridge Bay, which is part of the North Sea, at dawn.  That makes for a beautiful picture.  Oh, and the sky is nice, too.

Some participants running toward the water.  They have to buy tickets to participate, and the event raises money for MIND, the mental health charity.

In 2025, 1200 people were said to have participated.

The North Sea in late September is not particularly warm.  In fact, it's downright chilly, so participants don't skinny dip for very long.

Most of the photos of this event show the rear view of people going into the water.  Very few of them show a frontal view.  But what goes in must come out.

Performers - Part 92

Sergey Shnurov

Sergey Shnurov is a Russian rock musician, born in 1973.  In 1997, he created the band called Leningrad.  The band was known for its profane lyrics and scandalous behavior.  Above, Shnurov in the Leningrad band.

An excerpt from a Leningrad concert in Nuremberg, Germany in 2002.  The band had 14 members, all of whom performed naked.  The band had a rich sound, including trumpet, trombone, tuba, saxophone and keyboard as well as the usual guitars, bass, and drums.

Shnurov is the lead vocalist whom the video focuses in on.

Calendars - Part 93

Doncaster Brewery and Tap

The Doncaster Brewery brews beer in the city of Doncaster, Yorkshire, England.  They also run the Tap, a pub that sells their beer.

In 2020, they put out a nude calendar that featured Brewery and Tap employees and customers.  In this copy of the calendar image for June, some text unfortunately overlays the photo, but in the actual calendar, the text wouldn't be there.

Like most British nude calendars, it conceals frontal views, though rear views are shown, and it supports a charity.  All proceeds from the calendar were donated to Firefly, a cancer charity that helps local people in need, and in particular aims to remove the stigma around personal cancer for young people.  I presume that for young men, "personal cancer" refers to testicular cancer.

Here's an example of a month from the 2020 calendar.  For some reason, the calendar images were in black-and-white, although the calendar was clearly printed in color, which strikes me as very odd.  What were they thinking?  Were they going for a vintage look?  Because the photos would look much better in color.

And this photo was also said to have been taken during a photoshoot.  I don't know if it made it into the calendar or not, but if it did, it would have been printed in black-and-white, which in my opinion would ruin most of the charm of the photo.

They put out another calendar in 2022, with the proceeds again donated to Firefly.  This is one of the monthly images.

And this shows a photoshoot for the the calendar.

We end with another photo showing a calendar photoshoot.  There's something amiss when the photos of the photoshoot look better than the photos in the calendar.

Protests - Part 92

 Extinction Rebellion Bank Protests, 2021

On September 3, 2021, the group Extinction Rebellion, founded in 2018 in Britain, staged a protest at two banks in Manchester, England.  The group accused the banks of financing companies that produce fossil fuels that are causing global warming, as explained by the spokesman in the video above as the protest began inside Barclays Bank.  The protesters are wearing masks because this protest occurred during the Covid epidemic.

The protesters also targeted HSBC, another bank that has provided billions to finance fossil fuel companies.

Did these protests get the banks to stop funding the fossil fuel companies?  Of course not.  But the naked protests did generate publicity, which hopefully helped spread the word about the dangers of global warming.

Ads - Part 90

Sanex for Men

Sanex is a European brand of personal-care products.  Above is a 2005 French commercial for Sanex for Men deodorant, showing a naked man doing sit-ups, though it's only a side view.

The words "Vous voulez garder votre peau au top?" that accompany the sit-ups mean "Want to keep your skin looking its best?"

A 2007 Dutch commercial for Sanex for Men shower gel.  In addition to the naked man doing sit-ups, this one has a brief rear view of him in the shower.

In 2011 (after these commercials were made) Sanex was acquired by Colgate-Palmolive.  I haven't seen any recent Sanex commercials that feature naked men.

Weighing In - Part 92

Eidy Moya

Eidy Moya (born in 1974) is a Venezuelan boxer known as "El Terrible."  In 2002 he weighed in for a fight with Johnny Bredahl for the WBA bantamweight title, above.  Presumably he weighed in slightly over the limit, and he's taking off his shorts to see if he's under the limit when he's naked.

Moya lost that fight, but his overall record is 17 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw.  He is now retired from boxing.

Hiking - Part 92

Big Island (Hawaii)

Today's photos were taken by a photographer who has a Flickr page where he shows photos of himself nude.  In March 2026 he took a trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, the island where I live.  (Note: I do not know him and did not meet him).

Above, a little side trail off the Chain of Craters Road in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the same park where the volcano Kilauea has been erupting.

The next day, he visited Kehena Beach on the south coast of the island.  The beach is backed by cliffs, above.

He was enthralled by the black sand.

Another "victory" pose on the black sand.  I should mention that Kehena beach is a local nude beach, although this photographer did not show any photos of other people on the beach.

The next day he did a hike to Pu'u Huluhulu, which is located off of the Saddle Road that crosses the island.  The hike is not long, but it includes a steep climb to the top of Pu'u Huluhulu, a 200-foot tall volcanic cinder cone now covered with forest.  Above, he stands on the top, from which there are views of the volcanic mountains Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, not visible in this photo.

After reaching the top naked, our photographer was surprised to hear someone else coming up the trail.

Oh, well, he thought.  Let them look, and we'll both have a story to tell afterwards.
