Hiking - Part 43

 Horse Thief Creek

This was a hike by men belonging to GOPS (Greater Outdoors Palm Springs), a Palm Springs gay and lesbian organization, in the San Bernardino National Forest on June 21, 2011.

Pretty soon the clothes came off.

The trail entered the Santa Rosa Wilderness.  Wilderness areas are Federally protected areas with no roads or other development, where "man is a visitor who does not remain."

After 2.7 miles they reached Horse Thief Creek, the goal of the hike.  Here they are resting in the shade near the creek.
