Vintage Military - Part 84

Soviet Military Recruits

Today we look at some photos of Soviet army recruits.  Above, a medical board looks on as recruits are examined.

Another army medical board.  Despite the date 1910 written on the photo, the portrait of Stalin in the background tells us that this photo must date from the Stalinist era, 1924-1953.

Another military board with a huge portrait of Stalin in the background.

Another military board.  These photos are said to be from the 1930s.

And another military board.

This photo is dated 1931, which is presumably correct.

The same board as in the last photo, so this would also be from 1931.

We end with this undated photo of recruits lined up for their exam.

Not exactly the same when I went in, but close. Very close.

Amazing the number of clothed persons it took to examine one or two nude recruits. Perhaps deliberately designed to create an uncomfortable power paradigm?

Das Leben eines Militärrekruten unter einem paranoiden Stalin.
Die Ärzte, die Bürokraten und die Personenkult werden enthüllt.

Vain glory Soviet style.
Bullet sponges and cannon fodder, all pawns in that deadly game called war.
One thing Russia and America have in common, starting their shit with small countries. And ending up with their asses kicked and bloodied, and their treasuries depleted.

You would think I like the last photo first, but I actually like the first photo best.

It's surely worst today as Putin is putting those soldier in hell and treatening them as canon meat... Nothing changed in Russia..

Photo #5 gets my vote. Seated doctor (perhaps female?) staring directly at the nude recruit's genitals. Hope everything was in working order.
