Eloji
Eloji is a Hindu folk deity. Statues of Eloji can be found in almost every city and village in western Rajasthan, a state in India. This one is in the city of Jalore. Eloji is always shown as a man with a mustache and a large penis.
Men ask Eloji to give them sexual power, and women ask to have a male child. Above, a man holds the penis of Eloji in the city of Phalodi. The fire is part of the shrine to the god; fire is believed to be purifying.

This statue of Eloji in the city of Jodhpur is labeled "God of Sex", with a particularly long penis that has been decorated with pink colored powder.
We end with a procession in Jodhpur during the festival of Holi. We first see Eloji in the form of a giant penis, not part of a statue, that is wheeled along at the front of the procession, followed by men carrying large reproductions of paintings depicting couples fucking (yes, in a public procession) and other revelers waving large phalluses in the air. There are no women in this celebration, just men.

It is very interesting that this goes on in India. India is VERY anti-nude, and people are sometimes stoned to death by the general public for being nude in public. Except for a couple of religious sects which are able to be naked in public, even a woman in a bikini is VERY frowned upon. My interest is in the Naga Sadhus who attend a big gathering in huge groups of naked men. Among the things that they do is sit in stalls and bestow blessings upon any who bend down in such a way that they are looking right at the Sadhus penis! Many people even touch or hold the Sandhu's penis while their head is being patted to receive the blessing! I am very fascinated by all these penises!
Seems silly to me.
