Ozymandias
Ozymandias is the best known poem by English poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, published in 1818. I have made one slight change to the wording (the name), but I think it fits, since this poem is all about colossal ego.
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias Donald Trumpias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”

He is DEFINITELY a colossal wreck. Unfortunately, I think we will be stuck with the motherfucker for awhile.
I agree with Dude
Didn't realize I was tapping into an anti-Republican blog. Learn something new every day. And as far as ego goes, the Dems need to look into the mirror.
He's a wreck, alright. And he's trying to take us all with him.
Yes indeed. Who could look on 45's 'works' and NOT despair?
We can only hope, he goes down.
Nothing any uglier and dumbfounding than a gay republican.
To "Anonymous" who didn't realize he was "tapping into an anti-Republican blog" . . . "anti-Republican" and "anti-MAGA/Trump" are two entirely different animals. If you are indeed evening considering voting for Trump, you need to do some deep soul-searching.
Good job Larry!
Well, now it's clear. This site is only for left-wing anti-Trumpers. Good to know what's what. See all you low-lifes in November.
I'm afraid lone and level sands will be all that's left of America after Trump's minions get through with it.
Think again, Dee Exx.
In a more perfect world people wouldn’t take personal offense by pointing out a trait of “their” Candidate whether that be as done here or someone else’s age or blandness/ average-ness.
At least we can all enjoy the usual photos, art, insight and world view presented here. I’ve learned a lot here and been exposed to so many wonderful things and I will continue to come back.
