Conscription and Recruiting, Sweden
As in other countries, military conscripts and recruits were examined naked in Sweden. Above, a military enrollment board, 1940.

After enlistment, there were still opportunities to be naked. Above, conscript soldiers in the K3 Ranger battalion, Karlsborg, Sweden, take bucket showers during maneuvers in 1988.
More recently, we see Swedish conscript soldiers doing artillery (bazooka) practice in 2004. Why are they practicing stark naked except for their helmets? I have no idea.
Soldiers do get time off to have some fun. We end with Swedish soldiers having a snowball fight, photographed by Gerhard Riebicke in 1924. Click on the photo for a larger view.

Always thought it would be entertaining to have a full-time job with the military enrollment board. Group after group of of young men at their peak of physical development, completely nude, waiting for inspection.
Counted at least 35 men in the nude snowball fight. They looked quite happy.
I doubt any of that would happen in the USA nowadays.
That is my sentiment too. In my earlier years I didn’t really think about it, but now I just absolutely love seeing naked males, and am envious of those men who get to see so many penises. And to think that you could look quite legitimately....WOW.
I always love their rears.
I wondered if the naked bazooka practice was to avoid dirty uniforms, but I don't see any boots or knee pads, either.
Me gustaría ser participe de la inspección médica de reclutamiento
So many penises, so little time.
Love the naked military posts. So wonderful.
