 Murder Junkies

GG Allin (1956-1993) was born to a religious fanatic father named Merle Allin, who named his son Jesus Christ Allin due to a visit from God who told him that his newborn son would become the Messiah.  GG's older brother, Merle Jr., who was three at the time, was unable to pronounce "Jesus."  The best he could do was "Je Je", which is how Jesus became GG.  Once his mother escaped the abuse of Merle Sr., she legally changed GG's name to Kevin Michael when he was 6 years old, but he remained known as GG.

GG had a career as a punk rock singer who has been described as "the most vile, sickening and fear-spreading character in rock history."  He routinely performed naked onstage with his band, the Murder Junkies, but that wasn't the problem.  GG also cut himself with glass, fought with the audience, pissed and shit onstage, smeared the shit on himself, and threw it into the audience.  The video above, a clip from a song called "Gypsy Motherfucker", includes a poster for the performance warning the audience to "Enter at your own risk."

He was soon banned from most clubs.  He was jailed over 60 times for his antics, and he spent over 4 years in prison for assault and subsequent parole violations. 

His songs were not exactly uplifting.  The clip above "Die When You Die," simply repeats the verse "Die when you die when you die you're gonna die."  Note that he throws a chair into the audience.

GG was not afraid to appear naked despite having an endowment that was, shall we say, below average.  In the photo above, I don't know if it's another band member or a fan giving it some attention.

GG talked about capping his career by committing suicide onstage.  Whether it was a ploy to sell tickets or an indication of his disturbed mind is unclear, but it never happened.  Instead, on June 27, 1993, after he was thrown out of a performance at a punk club in Manhattan called The Gas Station, he aimlessly walked the streets naked (above).  Then, in a friend's apartment, he drank, snorted 10 bags of heroin, overdosed, and died.

GG Allin wasn't the only unashamed member of the Murder Junkies band.  The drummer, called Dino Sex, routinely played naked, and as part of the act he would stick his drumsticks up his ass (above).

After GG's death, his brother Merle took over the Murder Junkies.  Drummer Dino Sex still played naked (above) and still stuck his drumsticks up his ass.

We end with this photo of GG Allin's tombstone.  His brother Merle forbade the undertaker to wash the body, and his shit-stained body was buried dressed in a jockstrap.  Some of his fans shit and piss on his grave (above) which I think is exactly what GG would have wanted.
