World Naked Gardening Day
Today, the first Saturday in May, is World Naked Gardening Day. This year I'm showcasing Andrew Wain, head gardener at Euridge Manor, a country estate near Bath, England. Each year on World Naked Gardening Day, Andrew posts a shot on Instagram and Twitter showing himself gardening naked. Above, he's hoeing in 2017.
Watering the tulips in 2018.
Clearing paths with a leaf blower in 2019. The gardens are huge and formal. The estate can be rented out as a wedding location, which will cost you a mere £23,000 ($28,000).
In 2021, Andrew grew some facial hair. Here he is with a pitchfork.
Overlooking the grounds in 2022.
Andrew also participates in a naked calendar put out by an English gardening group called the Grubby Gardeners. This is a photo of the Grubby Gardeners in 2017.
The previous photos didn't show any frontal nudity. To compensate, here's a short video clip of another English guy mowing his back yard on World Naked Gardening Day, using an old-fashioned reel mower.
But that's not all. Here's the same guy mowing his front yard stark naked, in full view of the street.
Happy World Naked Gardening Day!

Wish I had a garden. I'd probably take a few moments to fertilize it.
Wonder what the property owners think about him posting a naked photo from their place each year?
The guy mowing has quite the wang.
He can mow my lawn any time he wants...
In England it is legal to be nude where the public can see you, as long as you're not doing so in a sexual way. Where I live, I would be put in jail and labeled as a sex offender. So, unfortunately, I can't do anything like that, plus there would be many times when the mosquitoes would be much too fierce for my comfort
In the Netherlands of my youth, I’m 70 now, being nude on your property was acceptable because no one should be looking at what you do at home.
My Father would never have approved of the naked lawn mowing - we had to wear steel-toecapped boots in case of accidents.
