London 2016 Trumpet Player
On June 11, 2016, riders gathered in Hyde Park for the 2016 London WNBR. They were serenaded by a Frenchman with a trumpet standing at the base of the Royal Artillery Memorial, near the Wellington Arch.
First he played the Beatles' Yesterday.
Next, he sang and played Always Look on the Bright Side of Life from the Monty Python movie Life of Brian.
Then he played Happy Birthday for Queen Elizabeth. The Queen was born in April, but her official birthday was always celebrated in June, when the weather in England is nicer.
Finally, he played and sang the Ode to Joy from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. A spectator joined him in singing it. He mangled the German words a bit, but I don't think the audience minded – or the guys taking photos of him.

I remember him well, a friend in London sent me lots of photos. And told me he’d spoken to him, his name is Lucien.

Lucien is easy on the eyes.
