Ads - Part 33

 Nike

Originally, Nike was the ancient Greek goddess of victory.  The best known representation of her is the statue of the Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre, above.

Today, of course, we know Nike as a brand of athletic shoes and other sportswear.  Above is a clip from a 2003 Nike commercial showing a streaker at a soccer game outrunning his pursuers with his Nike shoes.  Unfortunately, he's blurred.  This was not taken at a real game; the whole thing was staged for the commercial.

This 2009 Nike commercial starred Olympic runner Nick Symmonds.  He's not blurred, though the frontal view is carefully concealed.  But we get a nice rear view of him.

In 2014 Symmonds released this photo, with the comment "For the first time in 7 years I am without an apparel sponsor. Thus I am forced to workout in the nude until a company comes to the rescue."

This isn't an ad.  He's a participant at the 2013 WNBR in Brighton, England, wearing some Nike apparel.

And here's a guy exercising in his Nike Airmax shoes.  Maybe Nike should sign him up for a commercial.

Or maybe Nike should sign up these guys.  After all, Nike's slogan is "Just do it."

Nick Symmonds is hot. Has he ever done any full-frontal work?

I vote for the GIF at the end...they're just doing it, like you said, Larry.
