Poem of the Day - Part 31

Samson Agonistes

I test my bath before I sit,

And I'm always moved to wonderment

That what chills the finger not a bit

Is so frigid upon the fundament.

OK, the video above isn't a bath, it's two Russians taking a dip in an ice-covered lake.  But it's no doubt frigid upon their fundaments.

(Note: fundament is an archaic term for the buttocks or anus.)

So, how about taking a nice ice-water bath?

Maybe not.
