Artists - Part 30b

 Felix d'Eon

We continue our look at Mexican artist Felix d'Eon.  Felix is definitely an unashamed male.  Here's a photo that he posted of himself fucking his then-boyfriend Felix Forrest in 2010.

in 2017, he visited the house of a friend in Half Moon Bay, California, who took photos of Felix and another friend Michael having "a pleasant afternoon ... as we enjoyed one another's company.  Some of these I will paint later as erotic paintings."

Felix and Michael started with a little groping.  That's Felix on the right.

That photo became this painting Springtime Love.

Another photo from that session.  Felix is on top.

That became this work that he only identified as "new painting."

Here's a third photo from that session, although there are many more.  He posted 147 photos of himself and Michael at Half Moon Bay as they very comprehensively "enjoyed one another's company."  I'll just say that the photos show that Felix is willing to both top and bottom.  Felix is at right.

That photo became this painting, which Felix used to illustrate a vintage song Open the Gate of Your Heart.  He loves to combine his erotic art with vintage material such as this sheet music from 1923.

Here are two more photos that he used for a vintage song.  First, a nude model lying down, apparently asleep.

And second, here's what the sleeping model is dreaming of.

The finished painting illustrates the 1923 song "Pal of My Dreams."

Felix loves to make risqué art that looks like it could be vintage.  This untitled piece shows two guys going at it under the boardwalk at a beach.  From the costumes of the couple visible in the background at left, I'd say it's set in the gay 90's, which seems appropriate.

Felix d'Eon is very prolific and very unashamed. To see more, visit his Flickr site at https://www.flickr.com/photos/felixdeon, where he has posted 15,000 mostly nude photos of his art, himself and his friends.

Felix portrays an aspect of life that many would rather pretend does not exist, or would rather eradicate. I like that he bluntly and openly photographs males having intercourse or blowing someone, then creates beautiful artworks from it. Thanks, Larry, for a thoroughly enjoyable post.

I like the poster at the end.

I checked his Flickr page but it says no public photos even though it also states he has over 15K photos. What am I missing here? I'm logged onto Flickr so that can't be it.
