The Camel

The camel has a single hump;
The dromedary, two;
Or else the other way around.
I'm never sure. Are you?
(Note: actually the dromedary has one hump and the camel has two. I looked it up.)

The dromedary is the Arabian camel with one hump. The bactrian is the Mongolian camel with two humps.
If you rotate the letter B of Bactrian a quarter-turn left, it has two humps. If you similarly rotate the D of Dromedary, it has one hump. This is a very effective mnemonic.
