David Vance

David Vance is a Miami-based photographer.  He has been an advertising photographer and editorial contributor for Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone, Men's Health, Harper's Bazaar, and other magazines.  He has photographed a galaxy of celebrities including Bea Arthur, William Baldwin, Gloria Estefan, Sophia Loren, Ricky Martin, Johnny Mathis, Luciano Pavarotti, Iggy Pop, Dionne Warwick, and others.

But his special interest seems to be male nudes.  He has published 12 books of male nude photography.  In a previous post, we saw this photo of a nude model on a balance ball, presumably a manipulated image, since nobody can support their weight on one finger.

Here's a more realistic image: model Alexander Yunayev with a butterfly, though one wonders whether the butterfly was added to the image.

This is model Kevin Selby, who is also Vance's personal friend.

This photo of model Brian on the rings seems to have been altered to add the sky as a background.

The added background is even more evident in Guardian of the Galaxy, above.

Some of Vance's photographs shy away from frontal nudity, but others do not, like Guillaume Nude, above.

In Eric Thermals, our attention is definitely not on the thermal underwear.

Levi Bed Erotic goes a bit farther by showing model Levi Poulter pleasuring himself.

Shai Elevated is another manipulated image where model Shai seems to be floating, but there's also another part of Shai that's elevated in this picture.

We end with Vance's most explicit work that I have seen, Beach Bums.
