Bob Chandler
Bob Chandler (1949-1995) was a pro football player, playing for the Buffalo Bills and the Oakland Raiders as a wide receiver. The video above shows Chandler, number 81, scoring for Buffalo, with some statistics about his performance.

Before he was an NFL player, he played football at the University of Southern California (USC). He was named MVP at the Rose Bowl and became team captain of the USC Trojans.
But he found time for something else in college. As a sophomore, he was one of the first models to pose fully nude for Bob Mizer's Athletic Model Guild (AMG). Above, he poses for a film with Ray Charles (not the Ray Charles, obviously).

And a pose on "mount Mizer" (Bob Mizer's roof). His nude modeling seems to have caused no problems for his football career.
In 1980, Chandler was traded to the Oakland Raiders. Playgirl magazine asked him to pose for their December 1981 issue (above – his Playgirl photos were not full-frontal).
Then he got tackled and ruptured his spleen, losing 40% of his blood. He was rushed to the hospital, but the result was a 12-inch scar on his stomach. "Playgirl would never want me now," he said afterwards.
Ironically, his naked Playgirl photos earned him far more fame than his football career. "Strange, isn't it," said Chandler, "that after 11 years of busting my ass on the football field, I get the most attention for spending eight hours exposing my ass?"

A similar article based on Chandler was in another blog too, and I have the same comment. Why do you think the guy in Playgirl is the same fully nude guy who is younger? If you do a close up of the fully nude guy, he has a bunch of not very good tattoos - they are missing on the playgirl pictures. The younger guy has darker hair, worse teeth (more obvious in the other article), and doesn't particularly look like the Playgirl guy. The other blog said that Chandler's dad was or would be, mayor. Would a guy going into college with a rich father pose for nude photos using his real name? He wouldn't need the money and could afford to have good tattoos at least. If those nude pictures got out when he was in college, he could have ruined his career. I don't think they're the same guy.
@Anon, you make some good points. I got my information from Men From Back Then, the other blog you commented on. Some of your points are arguable, like the dark hair in the early photos. Many photos of Bob Chandler the football player show him with very dark hair, even though it looks lighter in the Playgirl photos. But the tattoos on the arms of the AMG model are an issue, because tattoos don't just go away, and the football player pictures, as well as the Playgirl pictures, don't show any tattoos. So they may very well be two different guys.
In any case, it's a very fine ass ;-)

Tattoos-- Well, they've always said that the Playboy Centerfold girls were airbrushed... why not the Playgirl Centerfold boys?
Legend has it that Angelina Jolie has a number of tattoos that were cosmetically covered for her Laura Croft / Tomb Raider movies.
