Bears Illustrated 2011-2013
From the sublime to the ridiculous, this blog has a bit of both. Yesterday we had the story of Jason, Medea, and the Golden Fleece, but we've also featured naked nursery rhymes. Today we take another look at the Bears Illustrated calendar, an independent illustration project featuring drawings from artists around the world. This is not one of those naked calendars that carefully avoids frontal nudity. Above is January, 2011 by Drew Green from the U.S.
February, 2011 by Ruboart from Spain.
September, 2011 by Bear King from Argentina. Although the calendar doesn't shy away from frontal nudity, some months show nudity and others don't. I'm posting the naked months.
October, 2011 by Veebee from France.
August, 2012 by Jonathan Roberts from the U.S.
December, 2012 by Jacopo Dronio from Italy.
January, 2013 by Bkzerotwo, country not specified.
We end with September, 2013 by Loic Le Dogg from France.

you're in a bear mood
As a bear, I am glad to see this. Thank you, Larry.
Drawing #2 ... OMG, that's me!
The last one, September, 2013 by Loic Le Dogg from France, is now almost 10 years behind the times. Today, I think that he would be wearing an electronic Radio Frequency IDentification bus pass in the same place as the Bus Stop charm.
