St. Patrick's Day
In 2019, a "Love Parade" demonstration was held in San Francisco to protest the city's ban on public nudity.
Because it was held on March 17, several participants adopted a St. Patrick's Day theme, like the guy in the green hat.
By the way, this photo would seem to support the theory that black men have an advantage in the "how do you measure up" department.
And this demonstrator has a very big ... smile.
Of course, being San Francisco, some naked demonstrators had their own messages.
This guy seems to find St. Patrick's Day exciting.
This guy interpreted the "wearing of the green" as wearing a green wig and a green lei.
And this guy interpreted it as wearing a green cock ring.
We end with pro-nudity activist Samuel Clarendon (left), who we have seen before. His friend with a green bow tie is taking our picture. Smile!

Judging from some of these photos, a ban on public nudity might not be a bad idea.
Don't see the advantage at all in the "measure up" photo. But it does look like a good time was had by all. Did SFO lift the ban on public nudity?
so nice guys, exp. last pic
@ Big Dude - No, the ban has not been lifted. BUT...there are still places where it is allowed. According to The Daily (SF's free local paper): Any parade or outdoor festival (such as Folsom St) with a government-issued permit allows nudity, public clothing optional private beaches (though some public ones it is still "tolerated"), and on private property.
I like growers not showers
I liked the third photo of the fellow with a big smile on his face. I didn’t see any tattoos, and he has nice pubic hair. And I always enjoy seeing pictures showing men's penises.
Naked protests are the best!
My niece worked in a place along Market St during this time. She informed me that every time one of the nudists sat down on the outside furniture, the staff was obliged to rush out to completely disinfect that furniture. Too many of these nudists were leaving shit stains behind.
I would happily carry a towel around if that allowed me to be nude in public.
@philt - Prior to 2011, public nudity was legal in San Francisco. In 2011, the Board of Supervisors (San Francisco's name for the city council), led by supervisor Scott Weiner, required naked people to put something between themselves and public seating, i.e. to sit on a newspaper or towel. This public seating law sounds like a reasonable compromise between allowing and banning nudity, but Weiner wasn't after a compromise. In 2012, he got the Board of Supervisors to ban public nudity entirely, with a few exceptions for nude beaches and events that had to get permits.
Concerning the second photo with the black man holding a sign just above his very nice penis. I don't feel threatened or put-off by it. His penis wasn't one of the extremely large ones that seem to be popular with some people, but I found the 'posture' of his penis quite appealing. I am not so sure that I would lump ALL black men into the BBC category. I, personally, am not super-attracted to great big penises, regardless of the man's heritage.
