German Doctors, 2020
After the COVID pandemic started in 2020, there was a shortage of PPE (personal protective equipment) such as high quality masks. This was especially serious for doctors and other medical workers who were coming in contact with a lot of sick people. To protest the PPE shortage, French doctor Alain Colombié posted this nude photo of himself. His armband and headband says "cannon fodder."
The nude protest was picked up by German doctors. They started up a website and social media pages called Blanke Bedenken (bare concerns) – the concerns being the shortage of PPE – and posted nude photos of themselves, like the doctor above.
They generally wore only a stethoscope, and sometime a blood pressure cuff.

This Spanish doctor posted on the German site in solidarity with them.
