College Streaking - 1970s
The nationwide college streaking fad died out in the spring of 1974. But apparently nobody told these guys at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio. They're streaking across the snow on Jan. 17, 1975.
Some more College of Wooster streakers on Jan. 17, 1975.
Likewise this streaker at the University of Missouri at Rolla on March 6, 1975.
A 1975 bicycle streaker at the University of Iowa, from the 1975 yearbook Bomb.
And these Southwestern Oklahoma State University streakers were in the 1975 yearbook The Bulldog.
The next year, 1976, this guy streaked at Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois, on Feb. 17. The caption says it was unseasonably warm.
Here's a 1976 streaker at Marshall University, Huntington, West Virginia from the 1976 yearbook The Chief Justice.
Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana had a naked run in 1977, but it seems to have been a one-time thing. Other colleges started annual naked runs, some of which continue to this day, as we'll see in future posts. Stay tuned.

I look forward to those future posts.
A front view of the Wooster, Ohio streakers may show that they are wearing athletic supporters, the straps show in the rear views.
I noticed that, too. So, they're really semi-streakers.
