 Slow Down for my Horse

Last time we saw how Lauren de Gruchy, a 19 year old horse rider on the English island of Jersey, started up a campaign on Facebook in 2015 called "Slow Down for my Horse," after too many drivers had startled her horse by driving by too close and too fast when she was riding on the side of the road.  She posted a photo of herself riding her horse in her underwear, thinking maybe that would grab people's attention to get them to slow down.

The campaign caught on, and hundreds of horse riders, male and female, submitted photos for the Facebook page of their horses and themselves, wearing underwear or less.

The article above quotes stable boss Dan McDevitt saying he saw loads of women on the Facebook page but only a few men, so he decided to have a go at it.  The photo was posted with the hashtag #canyouseemenow.

Other men followed suit, like the fire service guy here.  Hey, driver, slow down.  Where's the fire?

While many of the women wore panties in their photos, the men were less concerned about modesty.

However, this guy is wearing his formal fox hunting helmet and riding boots.  Well, one must keep up appearances!

There are no images of frontal nudity because of Facebook restrictions against showing genitals.

But Facebook allows rear nudity as long as it doesn't "focus in" on the buttocks.

Although the campaign is about getting drivers to slow down for horse riders along public roads, most of the photos were taken in other locations.  Here's a guy in a stable yard.

Be honest: if you saw this guy on the side of the road, wouldn't you slow down?
