Slow Down For My Horse
In 2015, 19 year old English rider Lauren DeGruchy was getting fed up with thoughtless drivers who kept startling her horse by driving past too close and too fast as she was riding on the side of the road. (This photo is not her. All of today's photos are male horse riders. Read on.)
She had also heard about too many accidents involving drivers and horses. So, she started up the Facebook page Slow Down For My Horse Campaign to protest thoughtless and irresponsible driving around horses.
To get people's attention, she stripped and posted a photo of herself and her horse, thinking, "If drivers saw that, they’d sure slow down!" She also asked horse riders to send in photos of themselves in their underwear (or less) with their horse.
Male and female riders sent in hundreds of photos. I'm only showing the male ones without underwear, of course, since this is The Unashamed Male. And be honest: if you saw the rider above, wouldn't you slow down?
This guy is taking a polite approach to the protest.

Out standing in his field, but covered so we can't tell if he's horse hung.
We end today with a guy who evidently wanted to help the campaign even though his horse is more of the toy variety. But I bet he got drivers to slow down!
