Festival del Proletariato Giovanile, 1976
The Festival del Proletariato Giovanile, or Youth Proletariat Festival, was a pop music festival in Milan, Italy from 1971 to 1976.
The festival was sponsored by Re Nudo (Naked King) magazine, which was not a nudist magazine but a counterculture publication. However, nudity was rampant at the 1976 festival.

Remember, this was the heyday of the hippies (are those flowers in his hair?)

The 1976 festival was held in Lambro park, Milan, and it was plagued with problems. The city of Milan shut off the water and electricity to the park, so there were no toilet facilities.
Over 100,000 people showed up (some sources say 400,000). Food was scarce and overpriced. A truck with frozen chicken was attacked, and the frozen drumsticks were tossed around like footballs and then left in a ditch to rot.
Some in the crowd danced naked, perhaps because what else could they do?
These guys (and one girl) seem to be leading a protest chant. After all the problems in 1976, the festival was not repeated.
Despite the problems, this is the image of the festival that sticks in my mind: a naked hippie looking for all the world like the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland. Ciao!

The sad truth is that we always manage to ruin it for ourselves.
Naked Emperor would be a better translation. Or Emperor's New Clothes.
