World Water Forum
The second World Water Forum was held in The Hague, The Netherlands, in March, 2000. The Forum, run by the World Water Council, aims to raise awareness with decision makers and the public on water issues such as improving access to water supplies and sanitation around the world.
The Forum was attended by 5,700 people. World Water Council president Mahmoud Abu-Zeid (at right) was speaking at the opening session of the Forum when two protesters took the stage. They were protesting a dam project in the Basque country of Spain and proposals to expand private ownership of water supplies.
Well, that's one way to get publicity for your cause.

I wonder how much influence they made.
So right to battle privatization of water.
Another commodity for the greedy to exploit to the detriment of everyone else.
Just wait and watch your water bills quadruple as has happened in several cities across the USA, after city water supplies were privatized and all rates were drastically increased.
Not for maintenance or service, but to line the pockets of their CEO’s and their shareholders.
