Athens
Today we show a couple of guys who showed up naked at what were otherwise not naked protests in Athens, Greece. The first guy showed up in Syntagma Square in Athens on Oct. 9, 2012 at a protest against a visit by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
This photo seems to been taken about one second after the previous one, but from a slightly different viewpoint. As you can see, the guy was surrounded by cameras.
The reason for the protest was that, after the international financial problems in 2008-2009, Greece had run up a large national debt, mainly to German banks. But because Greece is in the European Union and uses the Euro as currency, it did not have the option of devaluing its currency to pay off the debt. The Germans refused to forgive part of the debt. Instead, they insisted that Greece adopt austerity measures.
And here's the same guy from the rear. One source claimed he was American, but I don't know if there's any evidence for that.
The Greek government adopted the austerity measures, but they were counterproductive, causing the Greek economy to tank, with widespread unemployment and other problems. Most Greeks held the Germans responsible, hence the protest against Merkel's visit.
Our second guy showed up at a protest in Athens on Nov. 26, 2014, complete with a Mohawk haircut dyed red. Not like he was trying to attract attention or anything.
This protest was by students protesting new restrictions on schools, still the result of the ongoing Greek debt situation.
This frontal view of him is pixellated (sorry, I couldn't find any uncensored frontal views). One source said he was heard to say "Fuck off" in English, which suggests to me that he may have been British.
Somehow I think neither of these guys was really concerned about the issues being protested. I think they were looking to get some publicity, or maybe just an excuse to get naked. But, ironically, their naked escapades generated lots of media coverage for the protests that otherwise might have been ignored.

Larry, if you enlarge the second photo of the first male, you can see his cock is intact. That indicates he's not likely to be an American. We are still clipping our dicks over here, though the practice IS starting to decline.
Thank you for this interesting post.
Good point.
Hmmm.. why would any American participate in a Greek strike against the Germans? Other than that, the story of the Greek crisis is a little bit different from what was written above. And concerning clipping dicks... Why would you do it anyway? If we were supposed to have clipped dicks, we would have been born that way. Teach your son to pull back the foreskin and clean it.. every day! There are a lot of peoples that never ever did this and their penisses didn't fell off or had any other problems..
I did not say I approve of cock cutting. I am one of those few Americans who still has his skin. And I was taught by my Dad to skin back my cock to wash the head. The tone of your post leaves me puzzled as to just what your point is. I agree that there seems to be little or no point in an American joining a Greek demonstration against the Germans.
Hi Big Dude, not to worry about my post. It was a comment about circumcision in general. I still don't understand how people can decide for their children to have the foreskin removed. I read an article the other day about more than 10 young boys who were in a ritual of circumcision who died because the circumcision had been done incorrectly and they bled to death... Your blog is great and I enjoy reading your posts! Thank you!
