Poem of the Day - Part 18

Poem of the Day

My Shadow
by Robert Louis Stevenson (excerpt)

I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see
                ...
The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow

Of course, I would never post a suggestive photo of something that, like the poem says, "goes in and out" and "likes to grow."  Would I?

Why, whatever could you be referring to? What do men have that fits that description?

Cleverly composed photo! The photographer had a great eye and obviously very creative. It makes one think it was probably “photoshoped”.

Love this photo. Yes, it's the typical man, isn't it?

You're a sly one.

Not photoshopped. See the original photo on this website of a Berlin gallery: http://koll.gallery/albums/arthur-tress/

Arthur Tress was making clever, sometimes surrealistic, images long before Photoshop was invented. Click on Arthur Tress in the "labels" list in the right margin of my blog to see a post with more of his photos.
