Hullensians Rugby Club
The Hullensians Rugby Union Football Club, to use their full name, is a rugby team in Hull, England. In 2010, like so many British organizations, they produced a naked calendar.
The rugby formation above is known as a line out. For Americans not familiar with rugby rules (like me), this happens when a ball goes "into touch" (out of bounds). Both teams line up on a line perpendicular to the side boundary where the ball went out. A player from the team that didn't send the ball out of bounds tries to throw the ball to a player on his team, over the heads of the other team, who try to block it. Originally, players jumped to catch or block the ball, but since 1999, each team is allowed to hoist a "jumper" into the air to catch or block the ball, as seen in the photo.
This happens all the time in normal rugby games, but since the players are clothed, the hands-on-ass move is not quite as conspicuous.
A player kicks for a goal.
The players celebrate a win.
Heading back to shower and change.
These two guys seem particularly chummy.
Then it's time for a shower.
Romance in the locker room? If he was trying to hide his friend's naughty bits for the photo with the rose, he didn't quite succeed.
Finally, a well-earned beer. Cheers! Or perhaps "bottoms up!" is more appropriate.
