Events - Part 8

Nakukymppi

Nakukymppi is a nude run held in Padasjoki, Finland in the week before Midsummer.  The event is organized by the local village and has been held annually since 2003 (although, like many events, it was cancelled in 2020 and 2021).

Participants wear only shoes, socks, and sometimes hats.

Between 100 and 150 people participate, including men and women, but 80% to 90% of them are men.

Participants have the choice of going 10 kilometers or a full marathon, and they can go at their own pace, running or walking.

Here's some footage from the 2019 event.

Great stuff. Thanks for posting. I have done some naked running, on my own and in remote locations, and it is very liberating. I would love to take part in this.

Just being naked outdoors is so liberating. If they need an event as an excuse, well...why not?

It must have been awfully cold when this video was shot.
