Baker Beach
Baker Beach is below the cliffs on the western (Pacific) side of San Francisco.
The northern part of the beach is clothing optional, extending all the way to the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Although these guys are running into the water, it's not a good beach for swimming, because the water is cold year-round, and there can be rip currents.
It's better as a place to enjoy the sun ...
and the company.
Dave Martin, physique photographer in the 1950s and 1960s, used the beach as a location with the bridge as a dramatic background. This is Paul Dixon.
Another Dave Martin photo of Paul Dixon. (Thanks to Jerry at www.vintagemusclemen.com for the identification.)
These days, it's a nice place for San Francisco residents who, like this guy, are "happier naked."

Any nude beach is a good beach. I'm definitely "happier naked."
Glad to help, Larry. Thanks for the link to my blog!
