Ewoud Broeksma
Ewoud Broeksma (1957-2019) was a Dutch photographer famous for his photos of nude athletes. It's remarkable how Broeksma was able to persuade top Dutch athletes to pose nude for him.

He is known for an extensive series of photos showing athletes clothed and unclothed, which he published in two books, Dubbelars (Doubles), and Dubbelars II (Doubles II), each showing over 50 guys dressed and undressed. Above, Dutch Olympic motocross racer Raymon van der Biezen clothed ...

According to Broeksma's notes on the photo, he was portraying them with only their hands in front, and when he counted 3,2,1 to announce the shot, all of a sudden many of the guys moved their hands away, although he hadn't asked them to. He said "I guess they didn't mind at all." I guess not, judging by their smiles. I wish Americans were as unashamed as these Dutch guys.
Broeksma took many more photos of nude athletes, so we may see him again in a future post.

American males are getting more and more prudish. In my gym locker room EVERYONE strips under a towel, if they strip at all. I was raised to not be ashamed of my cock and balls. I don't use a towel, and it's fun to look at some guys'expressions when the peter swings free.
I will second your wish. As Big Dude states, it seems the average guy at the gyms are getting more prudish --- even as more male actors are shedding the shame and doing full frontal. Go figure....
I was at the end of the “males swim naked” in high school era, and it’s been downhill ever since. Nakedness is next to Godliness (imho)!
Imagine a 20'x20' shower room with 8 shower heads, a curtain across the entrance, with one fellow showering and a line of men waiting outside. I encountered this in prison. And nobody dared enter the shower with another man. Really sick!!! This was the standard way things operated.
Ewoud Broeksma has one clothed/unclothed photo entitled, "The Banker." Any way unashamedmale could publish this photo in a future post? Always a good day when a fully-suited businessman loses all his clothes.

Gorgeous men (except for the shaved pubes). And thank you for providing the link to more of his work — there are hundreds of naked athletes there! I will have to stop myself from spending hours exploring…
As for locker rooms, I find that not ALL young guys are ashamed. And if you have a Korean spa near you, go there for tons of unashamed males. You cannot wear clothes or a towel in the male-only spa area, so guys that go there do not mind being naked. It’s a wonderful experience even apart from the nudity but that is a huge bonus. I l live in DC and make the trip to SpaWorld in suburban Virginia every couple of months.

What I like about this collection is that it has normal healthy athletes in good shape but not "porn bodybuilding". And provides glimpse of normal at-rest european model of manhood with the long hood.
I remember the photo of Marten Venema & Tjardo Dijkstra naked on the field, I thought they were brothers
