Athena Underwear
This French film clip supposedly shows the making of an Athena Underwear ad, with a French athlete being photographed doing a pole vault naked. In order to make him more comfortable with being photographed naked, the entire production crew gets naked along with him. It's obviously all scripted, and the extreme pixillation means you can't really see any naked parts, but it's cute.
And here are the resulting ads. The image of the pole vaulter is from the film, but the audience has been Photoshopped into the background (there was no audience in the film), and the colors of the underwear on the horizontal pole and the underwear worn by the guys holding the poles has been changed from the film image to colors that patriotically reflect the French flag (blue, white and red). In the film it was light blue, green and pink.
This image of a broad jumper jumping into (or out of) his underwear is essentially identical to the image shown in the film.
And this image of naked sprinters didn't appear in the film at all. Again, the underwear on the finish line is patriotic French blue, white and red.

It was really nice that the entire crew got nude, but that pixelation really took the pleasure away. It would have been wonderful to have been on the crew! NO pixelation for them!!

I agree. Pixelation sucks. I wonder if the athletes were actually nude. Pixelation could have hidden flesh-colored g-strings.
My understanding is the crew during the shower scene in Storkship Troopers also went sans threads for the comfort of the actors.

As far as one can tell through the pixelation, none of the 'players' seem to have any tan lines, so I wonder if these were naturist actors/models hired to portray the crew and ad agency staff? I would have expected at least some of the professional participants, even though European, to have swimwear tan lines.
It's quite hard because some of them are quite impressive.
