Conscription and Recruiting, Russia
One common feature of all countries that drafted young men into the military was that the process involved getting examined naked. That includes the U.S., but we'll look at the U.S. another day.
Today we look at Russia. Above is my oldest photo of Russian conscription, showing a man in front of an army medical board in 1909, back in Czarist times. There were many exemptions from conscription (for example, an only son could not be drafted), resulting in about half the potential draftees being exempt.
When the Soviets took over, peasants and workers were drafted into the Red Army with almost no exemptions. This 1918 photo shows medical examination of draftees.

Here the draft board exams look like an assembly-line process. A guy waits in line, a second is examined on a table, and a third gets his height measured, while the draft board looks on.

That naked processing continued here until at least the Viet Nam Era.
The processing was much more basic when I went in. Naked, yes, but not individual. Nothing so posh as the photos you've posted. There were about 10 guys at a time in a lineup, a doc went down the line to check things out with a guy following with a clipboard.
Google the word "musterung" and you will find many of these nude exam photos. What I find amazing is that the nude recruits had to be observed by so many clothed onlookers. It must have been a daunting experience for them to stand butt naked in front of 8 or 9 clothed observers. Just watching.
In the bottom photo those are female nurses. I certainly would have liked to have been naked in front of females. There are many here that disdain females, I am not like that. I have quite an interest in CFNM non-sexual situations. As a bisexual, I enjoy seeing all naked people.
I always like these kinds of posts. I was surprised that women were in attendance.
Oh my god, photo #4 with the hot young doctor with his hands on the naked recruit’s chest. And all of the muscly men unashamedly facing the camera, dicks displayed. So erotic.
Looking at this again today. I really do fantasize about the opportunities of the examiners. Just being another recruit, a fellow would be best to not look around too much at all the nice things to see, BUT as an examiner you could feast your eyes on all the different penises, and have a legitimate excuse!! What a wonderful job!!!
for the women I see sitting, I think it was a valuable job. At that time, and even later, there were women who had never seen a man naked.
