Southern Decadence
Southern Decadence is the gay little brother of Mardi Gras. It's held in New Orleans over Labor Day weekend. This year it runs from Sept. 1 to Sept 5. It includes parties, parades, and drag shows.
But the event that I find most photo-worthy is the bead-toss from the balcony at Ambush Headquarters on Bourbon St. This year, the bead toss will happen on Sunday, Sept. 4. Guys on the balcony, above, toss beaded necklaces to guys in the street.
To get a necklace, the guys in the street have to flash their dicks.
You can tell who has done the most flashing by how many necklaces they have.
This looks like a flashing virgin.
Sometimes the guys on the balcony do some flashing themselves.
And sometimes they do other things.
Guys on the street are rarely naked. This isn't the Folsom Street Fair. But there are a lot of shirtless guys ...
And some guys in jockstraps or other things that provide a nice view. Let me adjust my sock ...
And there's even the occasional naked guy.
Meanwhile, up on the balcony ...
This guy seems to have found the event pretty exciting.
Oh. That might explain why.
Meanwhile, up on the balcony ...
Of course, there are always some who disapprove. Luckily, they're not in charge.
Meanwhile, up on the balcony ...

What a fun post! I love your commentary.
Do the guys in the street catch the beads around their necks or their erections?
BOTH ! you have to see it to believe it.
Boys will be boys. Naughty and incorrigible as HELL, both gay and straight !
