Mike Hindert

Mike Hindert, born in 1980, is the bass player for the New York band The Bravery.  Although the band is not especially known for nudity, Hindert has done occasional naked stunts.  On New Year's Eve, 2005, the Bravery played the Motherfucker Party in New York, and Hindert almost got arrested for stripping naked to expose his genitals with a painted smiley face and the words "Happy New Year."  Unfortunately, there seem to be no photos of that.

In June, 2005, The Bravery played at Britain's Glastonbury Festival (above).  Hindert played the entire set naked.  He said it was because the weather was hot.  This time there were no threats of arrest; the British are much more civilized about these things.  However, the BBC TV broadcast of The Bravery's set, which was due to be played live in the daytime, was delayed until the evening, when children would not be watching.

Here's some video footage of their performance at Glastonbury.  At the end of their act,  Hindert threw himself onto the drum set.  A memorable finale.
