Calendars - Part 13

Artists as Pandas in the Nude

Rule 34 is an Internet maxim that says "If it exists, there is porn of it."  In other words, there's porn on every conceivable subject.  I'd like to propose a corollary, Rule 34a, that says, "If it exists, there's a nude calendar of it."  As proof, I submit the 2015 calendar by ArtFCity.  It depicts nude artists wearing panda hats.  ArtFCity called it "The calendar you never asked for."

Above is the photo for April, featuring ArtFCity staff.  The guy is Matthew Liefheit.  Some of the calendar photos were of women, some of men, and some had both.  I'm only showing ones with men or both.

ArtFCity stands for Art Fag City.  It's a New York-based blog about local artists and art activities.  This is the photo for June, featuring Paul Outlaw and Jennifer Catron.

July, featuring Jason Andrew.  Note that all the artists are wearing panda hats.  What's the deal with that?  Read on.

August, featuring Rollin Leonard.  On Oct. 1, 2013, Republicans in Congress attempted to sabotage Obamacare by refusing to authorize government funding for the next year.  The U.S. government shut down for 16 days, furloughing 800,000 "non-essential" workers.  Among the things that got shut down was the live webcam of the Washington Zoo's famous panda Mei Xiang, just days after she had delivered a baby panda.

November, featuring Nayland Blake.  To fill the panda-cam void, ArtFCity hosted panda-related activities, including dressing up as pandas.  Republicans finally relented after everyone blamed them for the shutdown, and they ended it on Oct. 17.  This nude calendar of artists wearing panda hats was the last thing to come out of the shutdown panda-fest.

December, featuring Marc Swanson.  As nude calendars go, this one is G-rated.  They not only concealed frontal nudity (which is pretty standard), but there wasn't any rear nudity either.  At least there was a little side nudity.

We end with a promotional video, evidently shot during the filming of the calendar pictures, where the "pandas" were asked how much bamboo they ate (note: real pandas eat nothing but bamboo).  I edited it to include only the shots corresponding to the photos above, i.e. the ones with male or mixed male/female artists.

If it exists, there is porn of it. Genial, brilliant! and absolutely true. There are porn videos with a girl who looks like Greta!
