Fire Island Pines
Fire Island is a barrier island off the shore of Long Island in New York City. It has long been a gay mecca. Above, photographer Paul Cadmus of the PaJaMa group, lying down, and Joe Martinez, standing, on Fire Island in 1939.
One of the nude beaches on Fire Island is in the area called Fire Island Pines. The photo above is from a book of Polaroid photos that writer and photographer Tom Bianchi took at Fire Island Pines from 1975 to 1983.
Tom Bianchi said: "Paul Wilson had recently moved to New York from Ireland and became famous at Fire Island … He was known for his charming brogue, his killer physique, and the size of his cock. He’d been given the nickname 'Oh Daddy'. I shot him for the larger-than-life David Paul O’Mara sculpture I made in the early ‘80s."
And here's Tom Bianchi himself, a photographer as uninhibited as his models.
There's a lovely stretch of beach at Fire Island Pines, good for sunbathing and reading, though this guy seems to have his eye on something else ...
perhaps a view like this one.
And there are activities scheduled by various groups. This is the Naked Men's Yoga+Tantra EROS Retreat, 2020.
This is the annual Pines Party in 2024, where you might get to meet someone ...
of maybe get a massage – and more?

Wish I could go there.
I had a friend who spent every weekend in summer and every summer vacation there.
Nude male at bas relief is well endowed Paul "Oh Daddy" Wilson. A man from Ireland who was a muse of Bianchi, died from AIDS. -Rj
I could use a massage.
@Rj - Thank you. I found a quote from Tom Bianchi about Paul Wilson and updated the photo caption.
